Grand Casino purchased the naming rights to rename the Excel Energy Center to Grand Casino Arena. I am proud to say that I was on the team that created the tagline, A New Era Begins, and that I was part of the conversation that chose the stadium's name.
Once the partnership started rolling, I have been the writer to create promotional content that hundreds of thousands of people see every day. The taglines strung across the arena, the Grand Casino Activation Space, and more.

Grand Casino Arena Landing Page - Body copy | This took a lot of time to polish. We had a lot of C-suite people looking at this, making sure it reflected exactly what they wanted, especially since this heavily reflects on the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
This was a surprise gift for the audience at Grand Casino Arena. This was a huge converter to visits for us.
This is the back of the audience gift. Since most people don't know we have two properties, we included a map to both and fun, catchy instructions that encouraged people to visit the casinos. These were very well received.
This is the audience gift at Grand Casino Arena, celebrating Native American Heritage Night. Audience members who received these coupons also received a beaded friendship bracelet from the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
This is the back side of the Native American Heritage Night coupon. Audience members could choose a bonus, which was very tricky to handle legally. The disclaimer took almost a day of back and forth with legal. In the end, it was a major success and had an overwhelmingly positive effect on our brand.
